Hi, I am Christen Elizabeth Hammock, and I am seventeen years old. I am delighted that you had a chance to drop by my website.

I wrote Mercy’s Journey between the ages of nine and ten, and typed it at age 11, while I had mononucleosis and strep throat. Of course, writing is my favorite thing to do, but I also enjoy reading, babysitting, acting, and playing and listening to music. I took piano for almost eight years, and have been involved in some sort of choir most my life. Reading is one of the greatest joys of my life - I especially enjoy the Series of Unfortunate Events by Lemony Snicket (Daniel Handler), Cold Sassy Tree by Olive Ann Burns, and most all books by Jane Austen. Although I have been homeschooled most of my life, I am currently a sophomore at a local high school, in the International Baccalaureate program.
